Term 4 homework and Term 3 Holidays
Term 4 Homework
Here is a teaser as I don’t want you starting this now!
For this term Mrs C and I created a homework sheet all about crime. Each week a new activity is due and some are for 2 weeks. You will also have a basic facts sheet each week to complete. I hope you enjoy it.
Remember: You need to keep working on your goal for testing so keep up the writing, basic facts sheets or spelling work.
Some topics coming up are-
-
Fingerprints
-
Fibres
-
Blood
-
Using your senses
-
Working out heights from foot lengths.
ACE project
If you finish this before term ends PLEASE hand it in by Friday so I can start printing off the photos. Remember to-
Name your CD/Memory stick
Write a note that tells me your top photo that you would like printed for the exhibition.
This is due on MONDAY day one of term 4 at the VERY latest.
Cameras have been available every break for you to use and will still be available for use until Friday.
Speeches:
This week you will have class time to write your speech on “A person who inspires me”. If you do not finish it in class time then you will need to do this at home over the holidays.
On Tuesday (of the first week, term 4) we will have our class speech competition. You will need to have
Your 3 minute speech
Your speech on cue cards
Your speech all practised and ready to present.
Blog
Everyone needs to post a comment on the blog by the first day of term 4. Tell us about what you are up to in the holidays, talk about the ACE project or how much you miss us all. If you do not have the net you can hop on my laptop before school or in breaks BEFORE Friday afternoon.
We have had a shared lunch already this term so let’s have a shared morning tea on the last day! This means we can bring smaller things. In your desk groups select 2 things that your group will bring (so not everyone will bring something). Once you have checked with your parents write up what your group is bringing on the big whiteboard so we don’t have too many double ups.
